Derek’s outBOX – January 7, 2021

Follow Our Box Shop

  1. We received an amazing annual report card from XYZ Customer. Check it out and THANK YOU!

Highlights from 2021:

All the boxes you produce for us are very high quality and we have never had any reported “defects.”

– Communication with your customer service team and our sales rep is always consistently excellent.

– Order errors, invoice issues, and shipment damages rarely occur. If there is an issue, it is attended to immediately. –  I cannot tell you how wonderful it is to have a supplier with such high standards and excellent service.

– The ordering and delivery schedule is working seamlessly for myself and for our warehouse team.

– Per my request, Lori emails me weekly with the expected truck delivery time. This is so helpful because I can alert my warehouse team, so they know when to expect delivery.

Concerns and / or Improvement Goals for 2021:

–  The price increases have been difficult to cope with, but we appreciate Volk’s honest approach and the immediate notifications about the constantly changing paper and packaging landscape.

– The increased lead times on the make and ship boxes has been challenging but we are making it work.

XYZ Customer values our partnership with Volk Packaging, and we are looking forward to a prosperous 2022.  Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to talk and review any concerns.

Thank you for your great products and excellent service. Best wishes for a happy and safe Holiday Season!

  1. This has nothing to do with Volk Packaging, but it was such an amazingly inspiring (and scary) story. I think it is good to watch if you think you had a bad day.  https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=elfQk7o7ezk

  1. The church we attend in Costa Rica is hosting some baseball clinics. There is almost no baseball down there as soccer is the primary sport.   The biggest challenge they have is finding gloves for all the kids.  If you, or someone you know, has an old baseball glove that you could donate, Amy and I will bring them to our church in Costa Rica on our next trip down there.
