These are unprecedented times. I think it is safe to say that none of us have ever lived through anything like what we have experienced in 2020 and 2021.

As we weathered an historic pandemic, our government forced businesses to shut down, placing millions on unemployment and delaying the manufacturing and delivery of critical products. While the toilet paper shortages may have been somewhat amusing, the resulting shipping log jams, computer chip shortages, massive labor shortages leading to excessively long lead-times, and the worst inflation in more than 30 years have not been funny at all. Hardly a day passes without our receiving an email or letter that a vendor is increasing their prices to us.  It has been a very challenging period, and no one seems to have any idea when the craziness will subside.
