- Apparently, due to the massive amount of “dusting up to an inch” that we will be getting in the Northeast today, our flights were canceled. The airlines all have policies that exempt them from paying for hotels and food for stranded passengers if it is “weather related,” so of course they use weather as an excuse to cancel rather than admit they are significantly under-staffed because of COVID illnesses and vaccination mandates.
Sadly, Amy and I will be missing two more days of Maine winter. See ya Thursday. 😊
